Hyderabad based franchise, Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH) became 3rd IPL team to unveil their new jersey ahead of Latest Edition of IPL 2023 after MI and LSG. SRH announced the arrival of new jersey on Twitter on 16th March, 2023 with the tweet HERE. WE. GO.
The video features batsman Mayank Agarwal, speedster Umran Malik and all-rounder Washington Sundar revealing their new jersey. With the unveiling, it brought smile on fans’ faces who showered their love for the new kit. Hope new jersey brings good luck for SRH and they end this season on high note.
Taking about their campaign, they all are ready to lock their horns against Rajasthan Royals on 2nd April, 2023 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad from 03:30pm onwards.
Last year, the then Captain, Kane Williamson’s lack of form forced SRH to sack their captain from his captaincy as well as let him go off the team as Kane Mama scored only 216 run in 13 matches at an average of 19.64 having strike rate of 93.50. SRH finished 8th on Points Table with 6 wins out of 14 matches compelling them to be excluded from playoffs race of IPL 2022.
