KL Rahul led Lucknow Super Giants(LSG) unveils new jersey for the Indian Premier League Edition 2023.
RPSG Group owner, Sanjeev Goenka, also the owner of LSG, Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) secretary Jay Shah, LSG Captain KL Rahul, LSG Mentor Gautam Gambhir altogether unveiled the new jersery for IPL 2023.
During the unveiling event, Gautam Gambhir, KL Rahul, and Sanjeev Goenka discussed what to anticipate from LSG this season. LSG’s team mentor, Gambhir, underlined the need of consistency. The conditions will be different from previous season. As a result, adaptability will be critical in generating a favourable outcome.
The jersey’s major colour is dark blue, with red stripes on either side. KL Rahul, Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi, Jaydev Unadkat, Deepak Hooda attended the unveiling event. With the launch of new jersey, LSG will look to start their campaign in the latest IPL with a great win as the first match of IPL 2023 for LSG will be against Delhi Capitals on their home ground, Lucknow on 1st April, 2023 from 07:30pm onwards. Talking about LSG skipper’s form, he’s been phenomenal when it comes to performing at this grand stage. By amassing 616 with a ming boggling average of 51.33 having strike rate of 135.38, he’s on a dream run since 2018. He has continued his enormous scoring period with scores of 620, 670, 593 and 659 in 2021, 2020, 2019 and 2018 respectively.
