Two time IPL Champions, Kolkata Knight Riders unveiled their new jersey for the 16th Edition of IPL 2023. Kolkata revealed their jersey by posting a video on twitter with title Making a statement yet again, in Purple & Gold featuring Caribbean All-rounder, DRE RUS, Venkatesh Iyer and Rinku Singh.
With this tweet, KKR also showed their love for purple and gold colours which can be seen in the newly launched jersey. This year, the leadership of KKR is doubtful as it’s not clear who is going to lead the team for IPL Season 2023 or current Captain, Shreyas Iyer will join the team before the inauguration of IPL. KKR hired a new coach, Chandrakant Pandit for IPL 2023 Edition as he will provide his service in place of Brendon McCullum
They will start their campaign for IPL 2023 from 1st April going against PBKS at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali.
