India have reigned supreme by winning last 3 Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
- 2016/17 :- When Australia toured of India in 2016/17, India won it by 2-1 in 4 tests matches series.
- 2018/19 :- When India toured of Australia in 2018/19, India again won it by 2-1 in 4 tests.
- 2020/21 :- When India toured of Australia in 2020/21, India made a hattrick by winning it by 2-1 in 4 tests matches series.
The Test match series will be the part of ICC World Test Championship (2021-2023) edition.
