We all witnessed one of the most iconic matches in the history of IPL, 13th match of TATA IPL 2023 was played between Gujarat Titans & Kolkata Knight Riders at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
Gujarat Titans posted mammoth score of 204 runs to defend. KKR came to bat and they lost first 2 wickets in 4 overs. Venkatesh Iyer played fantastic knock of 83 off 40 balls. When Rinku Singh was batting with Umesh Yadav on other end, KKR needed 48 runs in 18 balls. The match seemed to slip away from KKR’s grip but something rare happened which became the iconic and never-ever-been-repeated-moment.

Rinku Singh scored 6, 6, 6, 6, 6 in the 20th over and went on to win the match against Gujarat Titans who were in the driver’s seat throughout the match. With this sensational knock, entire world went crazy.

In 2018, KKR bought him for 80 Lakh, 4 times his base price of 20 Lakh. But he got few chances to prove his talent thus getting only 4 games where he managed to score 29 runs in total. Last year Rinku got more chance to prove his calibre and in 2022 also he pulled an almost sensational knock, 40 off 15 balls but sadly KKR lost by 2 runs.
This time he didn’t leave any stone unturned in winning this match making it his most remarkable innings of his career.
