The India National Cricket Team roster for the Asian Games 2023 has been released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Ruturaj Gaikwad, a standout for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Maharashtra, has been named captain of the Indian squad.

The young Indian team will be led by Ruturaj Gaikwad, who plays domestic cricket for Maharashtra, at the Asian Games in 2023. The 26-year-old has consistently produced for the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The Men’s and Women’s teams from the 2019 Asian Games will be sent by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Between September 23 and October 8, 2023, China will host the Asian Games, which will conflict with the World Cup. A T20 format will be used for the men’s cricket competition, which will run from September 28 to October 8.

From October 5 to November 19, 2023, India will host the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, which will conflict with the competition. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to send a backup team to the competition as a result.

Rinku, Jitesh, Prabhsimran received the call for Asian Games 2023

Rinku Singh, a standout for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), has joined Jitesh Sharma in the squad after being left off for the West Indies trip. Jitesh Sharma and Prabhsimran Singh of the Punjab Kings are the team’s two wicketkeeper-batters.
